Mildred and I were very good friends from Jr. High through Graduation and beyond.  She was honest, funny, smart, dependable and all the good things one admired in a person - in a friend.  I received a call this morning from my sister informing me about Mildreds' passing and it hurt my heart.  Millie, I love you girl. You are always special - always my friend.  Rest peaceful in the arms of Jesus.  I 'm praying that Gods' blessings be with Bill, the boys and Kim.  Love, Tommie Lydia

Mildred was one of the nicest persons I've ever known.  Soft spoken and kind.  I am sure she will be rewarded with a golden crown.  Rest in heaven my friend. My sincere condolences to her hubby, Bill, and the entire family. Mildred was a heaven on earth.  Now you can spread your wings in heaven.

My sincere condolences to Mildred's family. I had classes with her through the years and agree that she absolutely was one of the kindest individuals in our class. The world is a better place because Mildred was in it.

Mildred was a very sweet lady. I had a memorable conversation with her once when talking to her about a class reunion. My condolences to her family and friends.

My condolences to Millie's family also. She was indeed a very sweet lady. We used to walk to school together a lot when attending South Junior High. I think she loved Bill forever, because I seem to remember them being together even in junior high! Every time I ran into her around town even years after we left shool, she recognized me & spoke or stopped to talk. She will be missed on earth, however, heaven has a wonderful new Angel, with a ready smile & the ability to make friends easily.

Was at South with Mildred and have always remembered what a sweet girl she was. Those kids we went through Jr. High and Senior High with, that were kind and respectful to you, live in our hearts forever.
