John Thomas Hower

Graduated from U. Cincinnati in 1971; B.S. Chemical Engineering

Worked for Sohio, Amoco Chemicals, British Petroleum, Honeywell as engineer, manager, and consultant from 1967-1971, 1973-2003
Graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2006; M. Div. Theology
Served as United Methodist Church Elder/Pastor from 2006 to 2014.
Currently living in Manteca, California.

1) Sophomore year (spring 1964) Mr. Dotson promised me a steak dinner if I broke 5 minutes in the mile. I did but it took three years before I could collect.
2) I was exactly a year younger than another classmate, Christine Reiff, because I skipped a year of elementary school.
3) During my junior and senior years, the cross-country team went to the State meet. Principal Scheuerman got us tickets to the Ohio State football games and we sat right behind the Ohio State bench or at ground level in the end zone near the band.
